Social Responsibility
S-1, creating social values.
We will be there for our neighbors and society.

S-1 Social Volunteer Group has been realizing the safety and security of human society and
corporate social values (CSV) since its founding in 1995.

S-1, creating social values

To create a society in which everyone feels ‘safe all the time,’ S-1 sponsors a variety of projects to support the underprivileged existing in safety blind spots with a focus on implementation of the social safety net.

We have more than 150 employee volunteer teams around the country with whom we operate various volunteer programs in connection with social welfare facilities.

Efforts to create a sustainable future

The S-1 Social Volunteer Group sponsors a variety of activities with a focus on social contribution projects which
comply with UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) to realize social values.

Social Contribution Projects
  • Social Contribution Projects
    Education to develop future talents

We provide ‘elementary education, scholarships and job incubation services for job seekers and venture firms’ to help prevent crimes and recidivism of wayward youths in crisis as well as inmates of youth detention centers. To help them become wholesome members of society, we sponsor programs for improving their social adaptation and self-esteem, provide scholarships to inmates at youth detention centers, and promote their college entrance and employment upon their release.

Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)

To ensure the safety of the underprivileged existing in safety blind spots, and create a local community where they can live safely, we are using Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) to support the Safe Village Creation Project.

    Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) education

To foster a more health-conscious social culture and ensure the safety of all citizens, we provide free CPR education. We train S-1 employees to be professional instructors, provide education on CPR and how to use an AED, and thus contribute to improving the survival rate of cardiac arrest patients.
