Upload Date 01-19-2018

S-1 (CEO Yook, Hyun-pyo), a total security solution provider, announced that the company held a ceremony to celebrate its 40th anniversary on November 28 at the S-1 Training Center in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do.

The event, which was attended by more than 350 employees, started with a video celebrating the 40th anniversary, followed by the CEO’s speech, and an awards ceremony for longtime clients, outstanding partners and model employees.

Since its founding in 1977, S-1 has been No. 1 in the security industry for 40 years, always leading by introducing state-of-the-art security technologies and differentiated services. The company added new businesses, such as its SI (System Integration) business, convergence security and information security, to its main business, Alarm Security Service, and has been expanding its security business portfolio. When S-1 acquired a building maintenance business in 2014, it transformed itself into a total security solution provider which provides all solutions related to safety.

Yook Hyun-pyo, CEO of S-1, praised the employees, who contributed to the growth of the company, for their hard work in his speech. "The 4th Industrial Revolution will be an opportunity and a crisis at the same time," he said. "I want all of you to start a new bold challenge to go beyond 40 years and become a centennial company."

He also said that [the entire company must be one team in providing total services], [should enhance customer values] and [develop new markets]

In the age of the 4th Industrial Revolution, in which the speed of technological change is ever accelerating, he emphasized that innovation and challenge, completely different from the past, would be necessary, and asked the employees to be determined to lead the changes.
